gardengeek Joined: 4/24/2008 Location: mooresville,IN Posts: 4	Posted: Aug/23/2009 12:57 PM PST We have a lot of persimmons this year and are considering trying to harvest. Don't know anything. I have heard it's best to let the fruit drop. Should I get nets like they do for olives? The fruit is so high, I couldn't get to it any other way and if I let them drop, our friends the deer will beat us to them. Any suggestions are welcomed. Attachments: Quote \| Reply \| Report

They are best after a frost has hit them, and you will enjoy them. We used to take a stick and shake the higher limbs that we could not reach to get them all. Quote \| Reply \| Report
