I rooted african blue basil in water several times this summer and they grew fast. Some from the first rooting are planted in the ground and blooming. I also did rosemary (in potting soil). They took easily but havent grown much, really about the same size as when they were rooted. |

Providing that they are able to get enough water, they should perk up soon. Keep them moist. |

I've never rooted anything in just peat moss. I don't know how the plants will react to it. I believe that peat moss provides no nutrients for the plant, so I really don't know how rooting will work. You'll have to let us know. |

The outher cuttings were in potting mix stuff I don't think that gives extra nutrients eighter so thery is it should work an well too but it depends on outher things too things I hope the wetness of the peatmoss and the rooting powder will help with I'm like shure the mints will take to it it's just when if nothing else I have some really well rooted cuttings I can try to yank free an replant in a container I'll jus need like a pencil to make the hole |
