I've never had any problems with my Mimosa tree until this year. My tree is well over 20yrs. old. I noticed my leaves falling off and my little seeds/beans turning brown. I then noticed an ant problem. I sprayed and took care of them(I hope). Now I'm seeing a hard fungus type growth at the base of my tree. Also my tree seems to be crying...it's ozing a liquid type stuff between some branches. Is it dying? Can I do anything about it? Need some advice!!! |

Okay. Hmmmm. Don't the seed pods turn brown at this time of the year anyway? It could be that your Mimosa has Mimosa Wilt. I hope not though because if it does, there is no saving it. |

It's not a long lived tree, not like an Oak which can live for hundreds of years. |
