Orion, bb_blogger, kaylee, riredwolf, and now ricecracker all report a problem with putting pics into their albums. Looks like at least one of these members have given up and moved on.

I can't understand the problem because uploading pics works for me both in IE and Chrome. I do find it odd that none of these members show an empty 'album' in their profiles. If they get the message 'album successfully created' wouldn't I see an empty album at least?

Album successfully created, yes. Right now my computer shows (me at least) an album titled, "outside." Uploaded photos, not at all. Have you even tried to look at our photo albums? If I have photos in my album, it's news to me and they do not show up on my computer. I'm using Firefox, maybe that's the problem, but I can't understand why it would be so.

I also want to say I find the statement, "I do find it odd that none of these members show an empty 'album' in their profiles." offensive. It seems you think that we're all at least too stupid to upload photos or at worst, liars. Perhaps it wasn't intended that way, perhaps it was. Either way, how we phrase the written word is interpreted differently by each reader and we should be aware of that.

By the way, if I log out and view my own profile, it does say "no photos." I would assume that is because none of us can upload any photos. Also, I've logged on using IE and am still unable to upload photos and have been waiting for about five minutes for one photo to upload and am still waiting. Most likely it is a problem with the website's server and not our ineptitude, especially since we (as displayed in my first post to this forum) can upload photos to posts, just not to albums.

I was not casting aspersions on anyones ability.
I was making observations to/for the persons who are
looking into the problem (which is now 1 month + 10 days old).

========================================

Hi Kate --
There are now 4 people asking for help. I tried to explain "how to."
But obviously I'm missing something or not understanding the problem.
It's been over 10 days, perhaps you can get someone to help.
Thanks

I appreciate the clarification Todd. I do. I did want to let you know how I interpreted the message though, and how others could possibly interpret the message.

I used to work as a Capacity Builder (training trainers for community outreach) and during a session with a professor at Fordham we were told (I'm paraphrasing here), "If I tell you something and you don't understand, is it your fault for not understanding me or my fault for not communicating the point clearly enough?" I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle and I will give you thanks for your advocacy on behalf of those of us having website uploading difficulties. No hard feelings.

I've left the Uploading Photos window up for two days with no results, I hope this problem is fixed soon
