When I went out to the garden I noticed all the leaves are curling under, tey feel papery and some had yellowish/brown edges on them. I sniped thosee ones off, did not see any bbugs though what could be causing this (can't post pictures, no ddevice to on camera)? How should I treat this don't want to lose the new cucumbers I have on it!!! Looked through one of the old posts and Told2be tried a solution of- 2 Tbsp. of baking soda, 2 Tbsp.dish detergent, and 2 Tbsp. veg. oil, for her problem with curling leaves. Should I try this? Any suggestions woulld help. thanks, Tammy |

Oh Tammy what are we to do, * too much water? too little water?,bugs? blight?, why can't we just have a crop without the fight? wooooo. got that off my chest. I think it may be cucumber Beetles, they attack the leaves, steams and roots(a friend said when it gets too hot during the day they bury in the soil and keep feeding on the roots ? they cause all kinds of viruses and blights(their carriers) this I don't know. But I have a web site you may like if , I don't know where or who I got it from but I like it, www.panna.org/files/field guide without endosulfan. pdf I like the trap section , GT |

I went out today and checked under the leaves for little bugger boos, but found none!!! So that makes me happy!!! The leaves look to me to be a little better, not as curled or papery, so I think the milk solution has helped so far!!! Do have question on this how often do you apply it? Should I apply it in another day or two? Tammy |
