I have a spot in my yard that dosn't get much sun at all. Any ideas what I can plant there. Hubby has a set up for something to climb, Our green onions do pretty good there, But I've found I like doing my green onions in long planter boxs because it's much easier to weed. Any suggestions would be great.
P.S. I wish they had a spell check on here

I don't know if you're talking about vegetables or not, but I can't think of any vegetables that grow in shade.
If you're talking about flowers, etc., there are a lot of things for shade, but of course we are going into the fall now. For planting in the spring there's hosta, caladium, impatiens, ferns and the like. As for shrubs, mahonia holly would probably do well. I hope this helps some. I just now saw this post. Sorry I missed it and didn't reply earlier.

Here is a link to climbers that do well in the shade:

How big is this area? If you are looking for an annual, I would suggest torenia. In my experience they last much longer than pansies, and are less work then impatiens. No deadheading required! For perennials, I agree with Witt. Ferns and hostas are the best. Astible are nice, too. There are some small hostas but I think most of the ferns and astible get big.
