Some of the new flowers on my patunias are falling off also. I have gotten rid of a few beetles, And we had some rain also.(I'll let them dry out a bit)I do deadhead them every morning. 2 times a day if needed, also if i see any with seed,I take them off and put them in a plastic bag for next year.(Hope it works) How do I cut them back? I also have one that is pretty sick looking(yellowish. looks like it's dead,but is still getting flowers on it.go figure.) Thank you all. Carol

Just take your clippers & clip. Leave at least one set of leaves on the stem, I drastically cut mine back in mid-summer-they don't do well this far south in the heat of summer. They will come back when it gets cooler. Fertilize well. Place in part shade, especially from midday sun.

Morningglories, petunias love to be deadheaded, I am constantly outside deadheading mine- once a week if sunny, more often if it rains alot here, mine don't like to get super wet!!! Tammy
