I'm not sure if this is where I ask, but here we go...I planted some tomatoes in the early spring, they have fruit on them. The thing is we're moving, is it possible to dig them up if they have fruit on them, without damaging or killing them? |

If you have them planted in the ground, that is a tough question. Tomatoes in the ground have a rather sprawly root system. Transplanting anything while bearing is not a good idea. You cannot let the roots dry out at all, and your plant is going to go into shock-it may recover, but it will take it a while. All you can do is try-What have you got to lose? |
