Okay, we know we have the hornworm and have been picking them off with the wasp attached to them. We have read to NOT take them off when the wasp are attached and I will try not to, but it is so hard to see a tomato plant go to waste...... I have read that a mixture of liquid Ivory soap, water, and vegetable oil can be used to deter them from the plant. Does anybody know how much of each should be used??? Thank you all for your help! |

I get a plastic bucket from the dollar store and place them in it with a few leaves. the worms cant get out and the wasp have a host to live off till they hatch and kill other worms. i leave the bucket at the edge of the tomato plot and soon they are covered with wasps. |
