and it vascillates between, hot summer, early fall, fog, rain, thunder and now the sun is shining. What is all this?  My gardens don't know which way to 'grow' but grow they are. I noticed through the window that the white angel trumpets are beginning to bloom. So Yea! at least something is doing what it is supposed to do.  Cleaning out files this morning, some aftermath of the house clean out phase.  Have a great August 1st!

I don't know WHAT is up! What a weird summer! We just got back from the farmers' market (yeah, well ~ veggie garden not doing so hot and we can get farm-raised tilapia, and rub elbows with the farmers) and everyone is saying what a wacked-out year this is. First of all, isn't it weird to get all this rain in July (and maybe August too)? By now, I typically have received at least two thank-you notes from county utilities for my water usage. This summer, highest bill $20! I know you said a storm was heading your way last night ~ that was our Thursday weather ~ it rained all day (you're welcome ). Looks like another front is approaching for later on this afternoon (which will be YOUR Sunday weather) so I had better get myself out there and finish up the hand-mowing.And if Mark doesn't make a support for my kiwi vines soon ~ I am afraid where they will go. Is it possible I bought kudzu instead of kiwi  ?!

It sounds like typical Ohio weather! haha The only thing you didn't mention was hail.  Happy Auggie Oneth Day! |

this weather is so weird,it has rained here all evening,,but the flowers is still growing and doing good,,,my cosmo's are starting to bloom,and full of flower buds,this weather is something else,,my friend and i were sitting on the porch today,we were talking how its just like fall of the year again,,where did our summer months go,,maybe in august and september we might just get some summer like days,,,,,which would be great,i might as well take the pool down,and put it away for next year lol,,sure havent used it one time since we bought it,,,,,,,,,so why bother,put it away for next year...........

We went to the drive in last night and were bundled up in sleeping bags and drinking hot chocolate. I expect that in May or October but NOT August.
