I have told you in the messages past that my peas have really shot up, and was having trouble finding big enough things to stake them to, well I got creative today!!!! If I had not done what I did today, these were on the verge of snapping off!!! I looked around our yard for any scrape metal that might have been tall enough, well I found some. My husband had some scrape metal that was with a old banged up scrreen door, found that was tall enough so I used that. Had a piece of pipe metal, used that, and when I ran out of things, had a brillant idea come to me, I have some old shepards hooks that I use hor hanging bakets- well I am not using them now, and I thought hey those are tall enough for those to vine on I'll use them and I did!!! Hey it might not look the best but who cares, it's not about beauty it's about function!!!! It works!!!! Will have to post pictures when I can figure out how to post pictures!!!! Tammy |

Tammy, a few of my use what you got garden projects.pic 1 raised bed made from trees that needed removed. pic 2 Recycled juice barrels to hold rain water. Pic 3 free shelving to strengthen my fence. pic 4 garbage can recycled to catch rain water that is ran to the barrels with a garden hose. The garden wire was bought at the flea market for less than 20 dollars. I'm not thrifty I'm cheap. lol Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Tammy said : I should use those as fencing post .The post are not in the ground i used metal fence post and screwed the wood post to them. Why because the flea market wire was higher than the metal post.It keeps rabbits and ground hogs out but moose are another story. The post that i tie the tomatoes are screwed into the raised bed timbers. |
