You have heard of Girls Gone Wild , this left leg of mine Is "Leg Gone Bad", "Sciatica Nerve " Whooo the cramping like a charlie horse(you remember them), going down the leg and then coming back up, leaving the leg Hot. Don't my leg understand I'm trying to build four more raised beds and start my fall seed planting. oh the shot in the rear was great, now it feels like a ice-cube under the skin, along with the two pills that were 140 dollars over my copay, my leg is supposed to feel better, hasn't yet ? I still think the 4 Motrins with a Cold Beer would be better? Go figure, Crippled-Guilt Trip. ps, don't pray for me just put in your fall garden in or start your seeds, that's prayer enough, Later GT |

Guilttrip you are too funny if I do say so myself. Oh boy do I ever know what that Sciatica is . Good thing tho, they opened up my back and I know longer have that pain. I just have that constant pain as if I were being hit in the low spine with a sledge hammer *ouch*! But, wait! I have the Sciatica in my neck, and my left arm feels like its in a vise. Oh aint life grand! The nerves have grown around my titanium plate and screws and they are just all tied up in a knot. I can totally sympathetize with you, dont get me wrong dear friendI'd love to plant some seeds for fall but they would just wash away with all this darn weather. Heres a space beer for ya.. Cheers! |

Oh, I am so sorry. Nothing worse for a gardener. I'll raise a glass to you today, but I'll wait till the sun is over the yardarm. |

Take care of yourself, guilt trip. Hopefully the pain will subside soon. I can't plant any more seed, though. We have only one growing season here and we're almost half way through it. |

***ouch*** sending a virtual six-pack to go with those motrin. sip slowly and don't drive. hope you will feel much better soon! my husband was in drywall construction for over 30 years and is in the process of joint replacements one by one as well as having had something like 9 surgeries in the last few years. he often asks me what i am going to think about having a "new man" when they get through with him. i laugh and tell him that by the time i pay off the balances due after insurance that i'll just be too old and tired to enjoy him. |

I'm getting ready to get some fall things in the ground. I've had back lock-ups before that were horribly painful, but didn't last too many days. I just can't imagine what that would feel like. Maybe this can be your time for design work instead of dig work for now. |

Hope you feel better Guilttrip. it sounds like all of gardner's here are having issues with are bofies, it must be all the gardening(ha,ha)!!! I know how you are feeling. Was diagnosed with carpel tunnel syndrome in May and just progressively got worse to the point i couln't hold anything and the hand wouldn't move!! So I had surgery in mid June, no more tingling and numbness. But hardly any range of motion and strensth in it!!! Went to see him for my six week check up saw I had any motion in it and has now sent me to physical therapy. Slow going right now, will see how it goes!!!! Tammy |
