I have ton's of this stuff around my yard, apparently the woman who owned the property previously must have LOVED this stuff! I was at a local nursery the other day and saw them selling it for $18 for a small bunch!!! I simply couldn't believe it.Anyway, I would love to trade some of this for other things that fancy me Some of these things are;Chamomile Calendula Lavender Thyme Rosemary Spearmint Catnip Echinecea (sorry if I spelled anything wrong )

Thats really pretty and really expensive here too. Doubt it would survive the trip across the Border though. |

It looks like variegated mondo grass also known as Aztec grass, check out this photo from the web. Does it spread with rhizomes? http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/65195/ |

What is a Rhizome? Pardon my ignorance but I'm fairly new to this gardening thing and I don't know what that means? It develops a seed stalk much like other grasses and it is anywhere from 1' to 3' tall. |

A rhizome is like a root that travels underground then sends up a new plant some distance from the original plant. |
