Boy! You are right about that! Your black hollyhocks are spectacular. And look at the lamb's ears. The lupine gorgeous. Love the frog! Is the yellow/orange one a dahlia? So luscious!

Such an awesome garden, those black hollyhocks are beautiful!!!! Wished we could grow hollyhocks up here!! I wanted to grow hollyhocks, but somebody said you can't up here!!! Tammy

I wonder if you could grow the annual hollyhocks in Alaska. I winter sowed hollyhocks that will blossom this year. They may not be able to come back in Alaska.

Supposedly they are hardy down to zone 4 though.

Wow, that's a sharp garden! I just saw your black iris. Is it near the black hollyhocks? Do you have any other black plants? They're very striking.
