I have a tomato and couple of peppers in containers. I think they may need nore room. Can you post some pictures if you have any or suggest the proper containers?

A general rule of thumb I use is vegetables need a container at least as big as a 5 gallon bucket. Larger is better. Fertilizing and watering are different for veggies in containers-monitor carefully, but it works!

I can't see getting much production out of a vegetable plant in that size container. It may produce, just not as much.

uhmm do you mean me? seems like it--my outher account is the biyu if im on my pod or something an compouters not functioning ill use biyu--

but its also dependant on what the persons williong to do to help tghe garden if you cheak an care fer them daily ok gio nuts grow whatever you like if they dont really do much care--like my uncle who expects them to be like they did when they were in the ground then yells at me fer watering 3 times ion one week when its hiot out and bascally calls my gardening skills junk tho this is my 6th year containers and his 2nd he has herbs and there BYOND thriving (ive chopped his mint and hees yelled aty me then it came RIGHT back as good/better then before)

it all depends on the person what theyre willing to put into it if starting want to look pretty may use herbs are tough tomatoes are more needy as are peppers an outher things

Sorry biyuwolf if I spelled it wrong, some times my typing and spelling is something to be desired!!! I'm with you it depends on how much work you want to put into it!!! I put alot of work in to my garden. I am out in my garden, most days everyday, even sometimes in the rain!!! Like today I was out there doing and fixing things in the garden!!!! Tammy

There is a man in a town near me who has a veggie stand every year. He raises his veggies in 5 gallon buckets. Never has a problem. Produces well enough to sell.
