I always thought that this plant pictured below was a tiger lily going by picts I have been seeing now I am not so sure. If it is not a tiger lily then does anyone elese now what it could be? Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not to sure if the top two pics are orange, so I might guess a day lily. But th ebottom one is orange and I have a few I dug up along the road. They are Tiger Lilies. |

I believe all are day lillies. I have several that look like those. Tiger lillies are going to have leaves like an Easter Lily. I think .

I think .Yes that hardy little orange lily we call 'ditch lilies', there is also a double orange one. They just bloom themselves crazy. |

Hemerocallis fulva. Common names = Orange Daylily, Tawny Daylily, Tiger Daylily, Ditch Daylily. Lilium lancifolium (syn. L. tigrinum) is a species of lily native to northern and eastern Asia, including Japan. It is one of several species of lily to which the common name Tiger lily is applied, and the species widely known. |
