What kind of herb is this?

This is my first time and I shared the packets with a friend so I don't have the photos in front of me. Could someone help me figure out what this is? Thank you! I'm afraid otherwise that a tree seed may have been left in the pot by a bird digging for you herb seeds. (Birds do tend to leave seeds around, in a big old dollop of fertilizer.)
