I planted a bunch of herbs a few months ago and they're finally starting to grow, I can identify most of them except this one. This is my first time and I shared the packets with a friend so I don't have the photos in front of me. Could someone help me figure out what this is?

Thank you!

the closest looking herb I found that resembles that is a broad leaf thyme. But not sure.

You know, it has a very woody looing stem...were any of those herbs a tree? Like a Oregon Bay tree? I'm afraid otherwise that a tree seed may have been left in the pot by a bird digging for you herb seeds. (Birds do tend to leave seeds around, in a big old dollop of fertilizer.)

I was thinking it looked like a birch to me. Was any of those pots close to a birch tree?
