We started our herb garden this year. We are having some successes and a few failures. But one thing that we did by mistake was to plant "wooly thyme". When we read about it, it says it is for landscape filling in between rocks and such. But it does not make it clear, can we use it for cooking? What do you think, can we use our woolly Thyme for cooking?

Would you use wooly thyme for cooking?

I wouldn't, but that doesn't mean you can't. I just don't like the thought of the fuzziness. Then again, I always hated cotton candy when I was a kid! LOL

Yep, you got it right.. not an herb... ground cover for people like me who hate grass... Lots of other thymes though, even a Japanese one.. that doesn't look anything like thyme. more like a vine with teeny leaves.. tastes deliciously lemony. Then there is winter thyme.. and lots of others.

Not to worry, mistakes bring lots of fun discoveries. Gotta 'speriment!
