I wasn't familiar with square foot gardening. Had to look it up on the web. I enjoy the luxury of having all the space (and more) I want for my beds, so it's unlikely I'll ever try it. My daughter's flowerbeds take up most of the space available to her, so she keeps a rhubarb plant and adds tomatoes to her flowerbeds every year.

Hi guys, meeting GuiltTrip and the twins(Jake & Maggie) was such a pleasure, they had fun trying to catch that frog while the poo was being shoveled. My son started catching and playing with frogs when he was 4, he is 17 now and he still tries to catch them from time to time, oh the fun & adventure. GuiltTrip, when Jake get's ready for that hair cut just let me know. The garden is at that transition stage, I'm trying to get motivated to put the poo down but it's been so hot that I've just been watering, fertilizing maybe pull a weed or 2 & come back inside, the rain helped a little but now were back to soaring temperatures. Maybe I'll try a lasagna bed, no digging I'm told. God I hope not . floridagirl.

There are many methods to increase yields in a small space. Here is another: www.GardenForNutrition.org
