Ok I have a mystery flower and has shown up since my family started gardening here so about 3 to 4 years. I like the flowers very much but always wondered what the name of the plant could be I don't see it in garden centers so I am wondering if the lady that lived here befor us added it to her garden and was left behind along with her purple violets. If they are invasive they are Creeping bellflower (Campanula rapunculoides). They grow to 2 to 4 feet tall. The 'creeping' refers to why they are invasive. Attachments: ![]() |

Wow thanks so much for answering my question I am glad to know what it is and wont feel so bad when I pull some of it out from time to time. I do like the flowers on it though so I will still keep some just have it under control as much as possible

I have a few of these.....my friend told me that they bloom and then disappear...I didn't believe her but..she is right.....they bloom and then disappear until next spring. Lovely color of blue too! |
