Not real sure how to put this? I too was thinking, my goodness the people we have known for years on t.v. have now passed. I have something very disturbing that has happened over the past weekend also. My sisters boyfriend put a rifle in his mouth and killed himself. She found him and our family is trying real hard to get her through this tragedy. We are very saddened by this and your prayers would greatly be appreciated at this time. *sigh* |

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. That's tragic. I'll defintely keep your family in thought and prayer. I mentioned the odd week it's been for deaths. When Cleveland 8 tv had Billy Mays last interview when he was at the airport going home he said there had been some problems with the plane and the overhead items had fallen. Something hit his head and he seemed to struggle for the word to use. My husband said when he first started talking he sounded like he was a bit tipsy, but after the newscaster mentioned his word trouble we wondered if he'd had a stroke or something. That Mighty Putty stuff works really well.

I'm wondering if Billy May's problem isn't somewhat similar to Natasha Richardson...a seemingly insignificant blow to the head that turns out to be deadly. It will be interesting to see what the autopsy shows. Cougar...I am so sorry to hear about your sister's boyfriend. I lost my closest, dearest, lifelong friend to suicide in the same manner almost 11 years ago. He had been desperately ill for a very long time and for him, I think, it was an act of control, not desperation. It's tragic when this happens for those who are left behind. |

Cougar I am sorry to hear that too. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was thinking maybe something hit Billy's head and he developed a slow bleed. I love MIghty Putty, too. |

Cougar, I'm so sorry. My BIL took his life in a similar manner at my parents home some 11 years ago. The shock and grief is overwhelming, and when that fades the question "WHY!" is nearly enough to drive you mad. Sending prayers for you and your loved ones. |

CNN is reporting the autopsy showed hypertensive heart disease and that sudden death is not uncommon with that condition. However, will have to wait on toxicology reports for a more definitive cause of death. Wow. 50 is soooooo young. |

We have a nephew that just got into Honduras for a mission trip in Saturday morning (yes, if you saw my previous post about him, I had the wrong dates then ). Then the coup happened Sunday. We got an email from Sunday night. They took the kids to Costa Rica for the day to insure that they were safe but they are back now and start their work this morning. His mom said "they had to miss their shopping trip". I said "yea, but he will have some stories to tell".

Oh my, Cougar, I am so sorry to hear what has happened. I often wonder what is going through the poor soul's mind to make them do such a thing. Nothing is that bad that they should end their life. It is just so tragic. You are in my prayers. |
