I have started giving away basil that I've rooted from my garden to my co-workers. I'm starting more and more herb gardeners by the day. Mwhahahahahaha |

Hasn't the basil growing been fabulous this year? I don't think there was a seed that I put out that didn't grow or a cutting that didn't root! Some years you couldn't grow it for anything or even find it at a nursery! Gee, I wonder what the difference was this year! |

I don't know, but at my last harvest I had a laundry basket-full from only 5 plants! That was my 3rd harvest of the year! What a great first year herb garden! |

Witt, I wish I knew why, too, but I don't have enough experience to try and figure it out.
