Just finished making this sign for my Bell Pepper growing in my veggie planter. Next one I make will be for my Tomatos. Okra, Soy Bean, Herbs and and ...will be after that! This is fun!

Doesn't look it but the first one is hard to make. I made a lot of mistakes. The worst part is waiting for the base paint (Kills) to dry. Then the paint for the drawing has to dry. Now I have to wait for the sealer to dry so I can add it to my planter.

K...going to make my tomato sign.

Post a pic of your sign here too!!!!!!!!!!

Good job. I know what you mean about waiting for each layer to dry. That is where I lack the patience to do those kind of crafts.

Thanks Mamabear! lets not forget the layer of paint used to cover the mistakes. Even then some mistakes you just can't cover.

so i'm not an artist. my tomato sign! I used a real tomato image to trace the circle & had to cut out the leaves to tace the leave over my tomato. Sheesh, the shape still didn't come out right!

Thanks witt!

It's not finished yet but I wanted to show you guys what the unedited version looks like. A big mess especially where the letters are concerned. Of course I can't erase but have to paint over mistakes.

I saw the insect online -- eating up okra leaves. dont remember the name
