sweet tea using stevia?

I've heard it is much sweeter than sugar and zero calories. But the "truvia" thats out now is so expensive! I guess truvia isn't supposed to have that aftertaste, but that means that it has been altered somehow, which means it's probably terrible for you like every other 0 calorie sweetener.
