My little mimosa, in my front yard,is going to be loaded with blooms. These limbs almost touch the ground and makes mowing around it difficult, but it is too pretty to trim back.

Ummmmm, thas far from little John. Looks like a pretty big tree to me. I love the pink blooms it has. Thanks again for sharing.

Looking good! Mine is loaded with blossoms now. The bees are having a great time in it. The limbs are so heavy, especially after the rain, that they are drooping. Usually the trees have hummers all over them, but this year the hummers seem to be not visiting as they have in the past.

Ahh, I've got a Mimosa Pudica that looks just like that. I guess they could be related. Both your shrub/tree and my "Sensitive Plant" is what they call it, look very similar and both close their leaves at night.

Oh, yes. The bees and the hummingbirds are all over the mimosas. There is a constant hummmmm emanating from them as well as the sweet scent.
