I absolutely love that! I noticed it immediately when going thru your pictures. I put it on my "must find" list, along with your hydrangea tree. Do you know what variety it is? So exciting to learn that some things, in the right places, of course, are possible! I plan on adding a hardy magnolia tree this fall as well! There is a beautiful saucer magnolia tree in a town just 30 miles away, where my mother lives. They are a much warmer zone 4b/5a, so I know what you mean about just a few miles down the road. Mom also has pear trees, but I am really tempted to try a cherry tree too along with the magnolia and hydrangea. Is your hydrangea tree an actual tree, or a bush that you trained? I know of some bushes here, but have never seen a tree. Absolutely stunning! Thanks so much for the renewed hope!

Can I pick your brain on things?

I love that diascia. Is that a trailing variety? Is that one an annual for you or a perennial? There is both kinds aren't there? (Can you tell I'm new at this?) LOL! That is a great combination, and I love those colors!
