When i planted my garden i put upside down milk jugs between my tomato plant to slow water and it is working great. But the jugs seem to attract critters. Am i the only one who is trapping critter in the jugs. So far i have caught and released 2 toads, a bird (not a small one a robin), and 3 snakes. I dread looking in the containers every morning and afternoon. I didnt notice this till i started to use grass clippings to prevent weeds in my garden and i wonder if the grass has anything to do with the critters i keep catching. I guess the insect like the grass and the critters like the insects but how do i keep them from getting stuck in there? |

Try scrap screen pieces, I use the jug to see what bugs to fight off, but I only use one for that and as needed. screen? Later Guilt Trip |

I have 18 inch raised beds maybe thats why i never had a critter in the jugs problems.Cover the top opening with a stone, wood etc. |
