Im asking anyone please help me figure out what type of squash this could be I have four kinds of squash planted: pic n pic dixie hybrid straightneck and crookneck. however these come from one plant but look nothing like the others. any ideas i picked them same time as rest but kinda green in color if you notice first timw i picked some i thought maybe i left on flower to long but theyre not tough? They look like a mutation, or they are simply malformed. I've had lots of squash that do weird things--two growing together, stange shapes, etc. I don't know what makes it happen, though. |

I've heard that some are easily cross pollinated so maybe that's what happened. |

thanks I kinda wondered about that but wasnt sure a weird looking thing Ive had a couple that were really large but had the humps were huge and it was a greenish yellow> Ive been doing this for 3 years now and love it but still learning and know theres lots more to learn. |
