Hi, It's me again, Brownthumb!
I just took my Don Juan rose out of the ground and into a pot and was wondering what to expect with transplant shock?
Also, should I keep the soil wet, wet, wet or just water every several days?
I am new to gardening so I appreciate all the help you wonderful people offer!

His leaves will look wilted. Just a thoural watering every couple of day should be good. Just keep checking to make sure he isn't drying out.

Oooo. I just saw you were in Florida, keep a close eye on him. When you but him back, cut the blossoms and buds off of him first, this will let him direct his energy into producing more roots.
