Thanks Pinkdamsel!

Info. came with the plant

"Resurrection Plant"
Place it in a shallow bowl of water and within twenty-four hours it will fill out into a beautiful green fern. It may be planted in a pot where it will live and grow. If you wish you may let it dry up and then return it to water. The plant will come to life over and over again. They have been known to remain dormant for 50 years and come to life when put in water.

More info about the plant. http://faculty.ucc.edu/biology-ombrello/POW/resurr ection_plant.htm

One problem, it is hard to tell which side is the root side. So for 24 hours I had the wrong side in water but it still turned green and grew. This is when I knew which side should go in water.

here it is 2 days later. I'll add the before picture tomorrow. I'm using my laptop now, the before picture is saved on my desktop.

My desktop is still not working, cant upload the before picture yet sorry. I'll probably plant mine in a pot instead of leaving it in water. You should get one witt it's pretty neat.

Here is a picture I just took. When I just got it, it was dry of course but the whole plant looked more like the right side. I drowned the poor thing.

I have those growing in my oak trees. They look like they are dead but after a rain they are green

Do they grow tall or stay the same size?

Hey Rashell,
Looking good girl! I like to float mine in my fountain. I'm a little concerned one day one of the birds may take it for nesting. LOL
