Wind and temptures in the 40ies now. Tonight A COLD AIRMASS WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION TODAY AND TONIGHT.
CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS TONIGHT WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO
FALL INTO THE LOWER AND MID 30S OVER MUCH OF THE ADVISORY AREA.
SOME OF THE COLDEST RURAL VALLEYS COULD SEE TEMPERATURES BRIEFLY
DIP TO AROUND 30 DEGREES AROUND DAYBREAK MONDAY

Good grief!! What a chore!! I'd hate to have to go through that! No matter how hard you try, something's bound to suffer! Kind of cool here this morning. Right now at 11:20 CDT, it is 69 degrees, breezy and rain off and on. I ALMOST put jeans on this morning to work in the yard!

It was 48 degrees here this morning at 6 a.m. We already have some baby tomatoes starting. I doubt they'll do much because it's supposed to be cooler for the next few days. I sure hope they don't fall off.

I was told this by some of my elders when I lived on my farm. If it frosts anytime in April, it will frost 3o days later on or around the same date. Till this day they have been correct! It frosted April 18 and there was Frost on the ground this morning the 18th of May. I shaded my little veggies just to be sure. Yep ive seen a frost in June too.
