Can you post some indication of size? It looks like a big pink sunflower

It is about an inch in diameter. Is it some kind of daisy?

What do the leaves look like? Is it growing in the ground or did you buy in an arrangement? Any more information about it?

I actually "stole" it out of a planter at a greenhouse. My dad is the manager so I don't feel too guilty about it. But they don't sell them separate and the planter was a lot of money so I was going to try and order some online. Unfortunately I didn't "steal" a leaf to take a pic of as well and I don't really remember what they looked like.

I think they might be painted daisies. In which case I will be in luck because I planted a lot of them last year by seed and think they are coming up! At least I hope. If anyone knows anything about them I would very much like to know. I really like the looks of them. Thanks!

its a zinnia, it has a composite flower and a radial center florets, inconspicuous but upon observing these are yellow minute flowers and it opens in succession.

zinnia belongs to the family compositae, or asteraceae.

Ah, thanks. Now I just need to find some to buy that are not in a $75.00 planter!

OK I looked at Zinnias, Painted Daisy and whatever. So look what I found. Flower is about 1 1/2 inches. So pretty. I bet this is your little blossom. A Gerbera Daisy
