Just took these pictures this morning. Next undertaking will be putting down the mulch. The pink asiatic lily is interesting...it was a deep red color with orange streaks a few years ago, then didn't bloom for two years, and now its blooming again but has changed to a light pink color. Kinda fun

This year I'm really focusing on drought-tolerant plants. I'd rather spend more time enjoying the garden than worrying about it when I don't have time to water. So I've added yarrow, russian sage, coneflower, heuchera, and hydrangea paniculata. All of them have held up well in our heat and humidity
