Told2b I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful you flowers are. All the different plants and color is just spectacular. You must be exhausted from all the work to keep them so pretty. Thanks for sharing and keep the pictures coming.

It's hard to come up against those photos (your garden is spectacular!). I am rather pleased that my little bottlebrush is blooming (I think it needs a spot with more sun as it hasn't grown much in the year and a half that I have had it) and I wanted to share

I saw a bottle brush for the first time last year. They are so pretty and unusual.

Hummingbirds really like them. My mom has one that was near 10ft. within 2 years! When it's all in bloom it just gets full of butterflies and hummingbirds

T2B......all lovely. 2 questions..what is the name of the rose in the 3rd picture? I am in love with it. Also, do you have any grass in your yard or is it all flowers/plants? I ask because I want more flowers and less grass.

Alas, I have no 'name' for the rose. It is an old-fashioned, June-blooming Climber. I started it from cuttings in 1994 taken from a house across the street. It had been growing there when the owner bought the house, which makes it over 60 years old.

Grass in my yard? The answer is yes and no. There is green stuff that you walk on to get to the plants.

That's it for May. Let's see what June brings.

Whoo-hoo that all looks great. Again, that rose is so beautiful. In the pictures it looks purple. Oh yeah, I spy a couple of spots of grass in those pictures.
