Most of this is recycled material, down to the compost that fills it. We spend our winter pulling nails and staples out of recycled wood mostly from pallets and machine crates. Some of the beds still have the square foot gardening grid on them. Im still deciding if I like that method or not. We painted the oxygen tank and chose a rock for the inside and drilled a hole on it then hung it. So far I put in some peony, Valerian (sp?) , and some lemon balm. Id like to cram that space full of herbs, but since its on the east side of the house I just dont know which herbs will fit well in that kind of light. Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It seems like powerful healing to put words like those on the containers I built to hold such complex systems of life, that frame the beautiful miracle of renewal, growth, rest, and rebirth. It felt something like medicine bags. I bless and charge each step I take in my garden, wether its planting, watering, painting words, shoveling compost. Its begun to be my church. |
