Guess where I am! Here is a link to my flickr account, leading to pixs I took at Hyde Park on May 3rd. Always loved the parks and gardens here. They are beautiful! Did some shopping today, not much more than that but hoping to visit Kew garden tomorrow. Have a few Mystery Plants to post too! http://www.flickr.com/photos/bentspur/sets/7215761 7686139676/ |

Before I came here 6 years ago I planned ahead and visited many places. This time I did not plan ahead. Tomorrow after my trip to Kew garden (have to see it again 'cause I loved it ) I'll figure out exactly where I want to go, then I'll update. Don't remember if I've seen Hampton before but thanks for telling me about these places garden! Keep the names coming I look them up every time you mention them.

Are you talking about these plants (see pic)? They are not marigolds but we are staying near Hyde park, I'll take a close up shot of it if I go to the area again. The flower leaves looked like daylily leaves but if I remember right the leaves are about 8" to 1' long. Hubby said I missed a lot of the blooms. Lot of tulips are already dead or dieing. Many flowers are, the orange ones too.

My S-I-L lives in Reigate, Surrey, which is where we stayed when we went to Chelsea last year. We took a train into the city almost every day plus we spent a ton of time exploring the surrounding areas as well. Wisley Gardens is another great place and we loved touring the Victory at Portsmouth. Soooooo much to see!!! Have a blast~Andrea |

Big Ben, Westminster Hall, Houses of Parliament, St. Margaret, Westminster Abbey and other sites. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bentspur/sets/7215761 7674899429/ Regent's Park http://www.flickr.com/photos/bentspur/sets/7215761 7680456471/ Also, visited Kensington Gardens yesterday but I'll post link later. Takes a long time to upload pics to flickr. Also, I'll have to edit out some pictures but wont do it until I go home. Might go to a Museum today, not sure yet. PS. poetic, I described the orange flower wrong. I saw it again yesterday at Kensington. I'll post close up shots of it later tonight or as soon as I upload to flickr.
