This is an early fast grower, has small yellow flowers, grows in shade nicely, will mostly die out after blooming but may attempt a second growth later in the summer. Seems like a perennial but not sure how consistent/strong of a perennial it is. Will spread from year to year. Not found in the greenhouses, am guessing it is considered a weed but personally I like it in the garden. Should be easy to ID because of the unique leaves. Attachments: ![]() |

The leaves remind me of Columbine. What color/shape of flowers does it get? |

Yes, the leaves are unique, but having a flower pic makes all the difference in hunting down an ID! I believe I have found it! Chelidonium majus (Celandine) ~similar to Stylophorum (Celandine Poppy) but with alternate leaves, flowers 1" wide or less. This is considered a wildflower.http://www.homeopathyandmore.com/med_images/CHELID ONIUM_MAJUS.jpg http://www.sharkan.net/87-vlastovicnik-vetsi-lasto vicnik-vacsi-chelidonium-majus http://dic.academic.ru/pictures/wiki/files/67/Chel idonium_majus_bgiu.jpg ~remove any spaces found in url~ You can Google for more images if you like. |

Thats it, thanks! Another reference: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/496/ And it does seem to be a biennial as I think I have noticed, but does tend to spread itself pretty well. |
