I absolutely love to garden and work at a fruit farm. A couple years ago I bought my husband a honeysuckle vine thinking it would smell really sweet. There is no scent that we know of. When my husband was growing up he always has remembered a honeysuckle at his grandparents house smelling so good. Does anyone know of a variety that is sweet smelling that can be recommended? To be able to buy one for him would be great. Thank you. |

I have Japanese honeysuckle, that some refer to as invasive, but I have not found that to be true. It is fragrant, draws the needed bees to my garden and grows very obediently on an arbor. It is the type I remember from my grandmother's garden when I was a child. |
