Raised Bed square foot test, (see Soil Fertility post). I was cleaning out my lettuce raised bed, The first shovel of soil being turned over, I was shocked, No Earth Worms but GRUBS, yes Grub Worms and about 9-10 with that one little shovel of soil, Nowhere near a square foot test. I stopped there, Saturday I will go out in the garden and do some square foot testing and different areas, In the mean time Grub Worms rest as you may, I will fight another day, Help GT

I have MOLES and from what I read their main diet is grubs. I read that a product called Milky Spore is good to kill the grubs.(Natural no pesticides) I have been all over town (Tallahassee) and no one has it. One lady told me that they don't carry it because they have no need for it in Tallahassee. HELLO? I have grubs, they are gross and disgusting and we've got the beetles slamming into our windows in June. So I really don't know what she is talking about, but I am going to see if I can order some online!

lol
