Hi! I would like to provide a link to pictures of my Don Juan climber. I recently noticed a large "split" on the stem and just behind it is a bunch of small thorns all clustered together that I have never seen before. I am also noticing something that looks like cotton on there? Any advice? Thanks! http://s705.photobucket.com/albums/ww53/Halime65/ |

Stem canker and die back... cut and destroy the affected canes at least 5 inches below infected area. disinfect pruner after each cut. pray with a fungicide containing lime sulfer repeat every 7-10 days during wet humid weather. remeber to feed and water regularly |
