If anyone is having trouble with a lawn that just won't green up, try this. Go to a good nursery and pick up a bottle of liquid iron. (It has to be liquid) Ortho used to make it but it is available under different brands. You must wait till Memorial Day weekend (7 to 10 days either side of the Holiday - timing is everything) and with a hose-end sprayer, apply the bottle to your lawn. You don't have to soak it, just try and hit as many blades of grass that you can. If you can apply it just before a light rain it works best. Results are immediate. Instant gratification, I kid you not! The very next day you will see the difference. Note: you have to use liquid iron for best results, the granules take forever to show any effect. Try it! Harv |

I used something similiar to that, I think. It was called *Green-Up* by Scotts*. Boy did it ever make the lawn green and it grew alot taller for about a month and thicker. It was nice. |
