I have those resin chairs that have started looking awful! Paint seems to be 'rubbing off'. What kind of paint do I use to refresh them? |

Krylon has a spray paint that doesn't need primed and comes in lots of colors. It's called Fusion, I believe. You might check into it and see if that will work for you.

I clean mine with Clorox II. That's the only thing that will get the black stains off of them and make them white again, but it takes off the shine. |

I have some old stuff like that, too. I wonder if some turtle wax would do anything. Or a automotive clear coat. |

Concerning the resin chairs;another poster suggested a paint called Krylon. I'm thinking of checking out the different spray paints. The labels should state whether they could be applied to such furniture. Will let you know of results.

I've seen the paint that PP suggested. It says it is made for resin furniture, if I am not mistaken. I tried using wax on a chair once-makes it real slippery! |

Just make sure you get a gloss paint instead of a matte finish unless that's what you want. Fusion comes in both and you're right about it being made specifically for resin furniture. Oh my, no, don't get wax on anything you're going to walk on or might slip off sideways! My hubby got some on his motorcycle seat once. He didn't go too far before he stopped and cleaned it off really well. |
