My little garden. I am way behind this year. But I have been fixing flower beds , replacing mulch, transplanting trees. You name it, it seems. And now it is suppose to rain tomorrow evening and all week-end. Then they said rain next week also. My garden will just have to wait.

Girl... you need to invest in a tiller. One of my gifts from my hubby. He hates to garden. But he helped me yesterday set out my tomatoes. So I could get them in the ground before it came a flood. Get you a tiller, you'll love it. I just made 2 new flower beds. Now that I have it my hubby can go fishing and not have to help...LOL He said it was one of the best gifts he ever gave me...LOL I knew there was a motive behind it. But thats ok.

Tell your hubby you need a tiller.

I loves me a tiller too! That is one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Looking good by the way.

Reba your garden looks good! If anyone asks about your crooked rows just tell them you're in to "abstract planting"! Chris

I have planted 19 tomatoes, but windy broke 3 off. And the ground has been too wet to do anything else. Today I tilled 3 rounds to help it to dry out some. But it is just making a clots. I have some squash and cucumber & bell pepper plants to set out. When I got my tomato plants in ground it looked like I was drunk when planting...LOL But I promise I was not.

This is what my garden looks like April/2010. Getting going...Finally!
First-the whole thing-two 8 x 8 sort-of raised beds, with 2 tomatoes and 2 eggplants in large pots/tubs-One of the tomato plants (see the blooms starting?), and one zuchinni! In the far back bed I have 3 cucumber plants and a row of snap beans. Sunflowers are about a foot tall, too!
