We live on the top floor of a building in Chicago. We are limited to container gardening and I would like to build a long flower box alongside a wooden rail on our deck. I have insulated our existing containers with bubble wrap due to the cold winters in Chicago. Any suggestions on building an insulated flower box? Building material, etc? |

There is foam board from aprox 1/4" thick up to 2 or 3 inches. Could be easily cut with a knife and glued (or not) together and fit inside a premade box or one you make. It could then be lined with plastic like a green trash bag. Just a thought but I live in warm country |
