Can You Name This Flower ?

I have had this flower for years but never have found anyone who knows the name of it. I think it is in the Gladiolus family. Appreciate any help.

How hardy are they? I never realized there were hardy ones.

I will have to see if my hardy gladiolas come back this year. I planted them last year for the first time. I am in zone 6 but down towards zone 5. I have seen some listed to zone 5, but perhaps not that particular fuschia one.
