Has anyone tried to start oleander from the seeds in the seed pods? I've had plants come up in my yard from other bushes.

I never did it when I had them at our place at the beach. We just made cuttings. They rooted very easily. I don't see why it wouldn't work, though. Just let the seed pods mature and plant the seeds. It should be fine. Be sure to be careful because oleander is highly poisonous.
Oh, and welcome to Garden Guides.

Thank you. When you root cuttings, what's the best way? Water or in soil?

We just did ours in pots. They were quick to take root.
