Wow, my grammother quilted, and taught me. I have done quite a few, recently its been hard on my arm. Hopefully that will change soon, dr is talking surgery. But I so wish you all were closer, I would like to join your quilting group. I have a ton of material. 2 quilt frames, any one want to stop by and stitch??

Those are incredible. I really admire quilters.

Even more the idea of using old cloths, fabric scraps and remnants. Like the original go green concept....lol

What kills me is I know several women who go spend hundreds on color coordinated, themed fabric, when you know darn well they have tons of scrap from their countless other similar quilts that just goes to the garbage.

Quilter's rule of thumb is that if it's bigger than your thumb you should keep it. I don't think I've ever broken that rule.
