  Inherited Quilts

[ 1st. 2 pic. - are of a quilt my mother made at the age of 70. Which I believe is called - double wedding ring.

3rd.pic. - is a quilt that a friend made for my son. Pattern no name,sorry.

4th.&5th.pic.- my granny was 100 yrs.old when she made it.Pattern no name.


Thought it would be nice to share my lovely treasures with all you. To me they are priceless. Both my Mom & Granny are deceased. God bless their souls. And I inherited these quilts. One day I will hand them down to my girls.Well thats all I hope you have enjoyed my quilts.... Reba/La.

Beautiful. The pattern name for the last two is called "Log Cabin".

Thanks, They were talented. I have only made some Baby Quilts. I was saving one that was my sons but the tornado got it and we never saw it again.

So beautiful. My grandmom was a quilter, but alas I have none of her handiwork. I guess she would be well over 100 by now. Still miss her though it has been over 40years since she passed.

Those are beautiful! My MIL made quilts. Now that I'm interested she has passed away. She would have so loved to have had "quilt chats". I miss her too.

I am not a quilter but would love to learn. Those are marvelous quilts! Yall, wouldnt it be fun to be neighbors and be able to quilt??

Yes , I would love it !!! Thanks for all the kind words. I cherish this babies. I wish we all lived close together so we could do things toegher. If I could just be "Jennie" one day.... we would have some kinda fun, girls !!!!
