Hello, OH what memories this bring's back. Mine started off like that, but unlike you, I didn't have the luxury of being able to extend it. My advice is, and I know this is an old topic is extend while you have the chance. You will want to in the futore. Huckleberrybob.............. Attachments: ![]() |

My posts are never old topics I always update on them eventually. When we added the raised veggie planter behind the greenhouse we raised the foundation the same height as the foundation of the greenhouse. We did this so we can someday be able to extend the greenhouse. Until then it's my raised veggie planter. Great advice huckleberrybob, I do agree with it. By the way my veggie planter is almost ready to plant in. we worked on it today. hubby a couple guys did most of the work of course but I helped too! lol Update on the greenhouse, I still haven't used it . hubby just recently got back, hoping we can fix it up for me soon. Here are some pics of the veggie planter. 1. hubby and I added gardening cloth to keep the weeds out. 2. soil and compost delivered 3. hubby tilling /rotating compost, peat moss, aged manure and soil after we added everthing. 4. planter ...we leveled the lower parts (not pictured)I already started some veggies (tomato, mixed bell pepper, herb cuttings) from seed. Soon I will plant these in my planter. Will post pics when done.

Added stepping stones. Planted Tomato plants (started from seed), Mixed bell pepper plants (started from seed), Soybean seeds (left over from before not sure if they will grow), Okra seeds, Red basil seedlings (started from seeds taken from the plant I had last year), Tritoma. & rosemary but I dont remember if I bought this one or if it is one from my cuttings. ALL DONE!
