What dos it take to germinate a mango seed from a mango fruit?

I'm currently trying it myself. My mother has started several from seed before. She told me to get as much of the fiber off of the seed as you can. Then wrap it in paper towel and let it dry for a few days. Then place the pointy side down into a half-filled cup of water for one day. Last, you plant the seed in decent sized pott with good soil with the pointy side up. Water as needed and it should spring to life in a week or two.

I'm trying three of them to see if one gives.

decent size hmm that mean a 12"? an how deep? an yea itill prolly remain an indoor plant only gooin outside fer summer during its life seeing as this is wisconsin im pretty shure our winters will kill a mango plabnt unless in a greenhouse or inside

I don't know the exact size, but my mom always does it in what I believe is a 3 gallon pott. I's about 10" across and probably 10" deep. It's the same size as the potts used for fruit trees at Home Depot.

If mine take root, I'm planning on grafting them with the mango trees from my yard. I will post pics of the process and update pics in the months to come.

The processes in the above videos work for other fruits as well.

we dont have any fruit trees in our yard LOL poo if i had myeway thered be afew here too
